Does anybody know....
Has DWA (9.6.1.7) been updated to install as a service yet?
Or do you still need to set up the batch scripts and then create the service manually? DoorsXLAustralia - Wed Sep 27 10:41:51 EDT 2017 |
Re: DWA as a service guess three times.. :)
at least according to the 9.6.1 documentation (https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SSYQBZ_9.6.1/com.ibm.rational.dwa.install.doc/topics/t_startsyswindows.html), you still need to install the service using the MS resource kit or AlwaysUp, also the fix list (http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg27036720#9617).does not mention any such change. As AlwaysUp and MS resource kit are 3rd party tools which will most likely not be included in an IBM installation archive, I doubt that this will ever change... |
Re: DWA as a service ^Oh well.. Wishful thinking! Thanks Mike |
